Kotdwar married woman gifts her kidney to husband on Valentine’s Day

Wife sets an example of love, successful transplant of husband’s kidney in Dehradun

Kotdwar/Dehradun. Valentine’s Day also passed away as a memorable moment for loving couples on Tuesday. The loving couples expressed their love by giving roses and gifts to each other. But a married woman from Kodwar gifted her kidney to her husband in Dehradun. The wife has set an excellent example with the promise of being together for a lifetime.
According to the information, Amitabh Rana, a resident of Kotdwar, had kidney disease problem for a long time. He was on dialysis for the last 7 months under the supervision of Dr. Alok Kumar, Senior Nephrologist of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Wife Preeti Rana came forward and set such an example of love on Valentine’s Day. On Valentine’s Day, Preeti gave a kidney to husband Amitabh and set an excellent example of love, sacrifice, dedication and marital relationship in the society.

A team of Urology and Nephrology of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital successfully performed a kidney transplant on Valentine’s Day. Under the Ayushman Scheme, the kidney transplant of the patient was done. Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has already undergone a kidney transplant under the Ayushman Scheme.
