Firozabad. A surprising incident happened on Saturday. After the death of a man, his friend lay down on a burning pyre. In the sorrow of a friend, the person also gave his life.
Rambabu’s son Ashok Kumar (40) died on Saturday morning in Madhaiya Nadia village of Nagla Khangar in Shikohabad. Ashok had cancer. Ashok and Anand Gaurav Rajput, a resident of Gadhiya Panchavati, were close friends since childhood. Both used to do farming. Ashok and Anand were sympathizers of each other. Both used to do bhajan-kirtan with dholak-manjira. Both played, jumped, studied and grew up together. Both were fond of singing and playing. The friendship of both was very deep.
The family reached Sarupur Ghat with Ashok’s dead body. Meanwhile, Anand also reached the ghat crying. On the other hand, after lighting Ashoka’s funeral pyre, all the relatives and acquaintances slowly started going home. Some people were present there near the ghat. Meanwhile, it was learned that Anand had gone and lay down on Ashoka’s burning pyre. People rescued Anand with the help of the bier’s bamboo poles. During this, he had burnt more than 90 percent. After treatment at the trauma center, he was referred to Agra, where he died.
