Decomposed body found inside room, locked outside house after murder
Kashipur. A transport broker from Moradabad was murdered in Kashipur. After committing the murder, he locked the house. Neighbours informed the police about the foul smell emanating from the spot. ASP, Kotwal along with the team reached the spot. The decomposed body found inside the room has been recovered and sent for post-mortem.
According to the police, Mukesh Kumar (40), son of Prempal Singh, originally a resident of Machharia police station Kathghar Moradabad, was a broker with the transporter. He had also built a house in village Pratappur here. He lived alone. Mukesh’s phone was not working since January 29. Mukesh’s brother Mangal Singh reached his house on Saturday afternoon, fearing any untoward incident. There was a smell from inside. He called his neighbours.
On receiving information, ASP Abhay Singh and Kotwal Manoj Raturi reached the spot along with the police team. The police broke the lock of the door and entered the house inside. When the police opened the bed, they found Mukesh’s mutilated body lying inside. The ASP took information from the brother of the deceased as well as the people in the vicinity.
Mangal Singh told that Mukesh came to Moradabad with a friend 10 days ago. Until five days ago, neighbours had seen him alone. Police are also investigating who came with Mukesh. Mukesh’s wife has been living in her maternal home for two years. was. She has two children who live with her grandmother.
