Haridwar. A case of blackmailing the gym operator on behalf of mother and daughter has come to light in Kankhal police station area. On the complaint of the gym operator, the police have registered a case and arrested the mother and daughter.
According to the police, Vivek owns a gym in Raja Garden area of Kankhal Jagjitpur. Some time ago, a girl named Tanya Sharma came to the victim’s gym. It is alleged that Tanya started sending obscene messages on the gym operator’s mobile. She was pressurising her to marry a gym operator. When the operator refused to marry her, the accused girl, along with her mother, started threatening to implicate the gym operator in a false case. Rs 5 lakh was demanded from gym operator Vivek. Upset, the gym operator reached the station house officer Kankhal on Wednesday evening. He narrated his ordeal to the police.

It is alleged that the mother and daughter have already extorted money by trapping many people in the same trap. Kankhal Police Station Officer Naresh Rathore said that on the complaint of the victim in this case, the mother and daughter have been arrested.
