Nainital. The Uttarakhand High Court has issued a notice to DG Health while hearing a contempt petition against non-compliance of its orders before starting the recruitment process for the vacant posts of ANMs. The date of May has been fixed for the hearing of the case.
Let us tell you that Neema Goswami, a student of ANM, has filed a petition in the High Court, saying that vacancies were removed for 53 posts in the general category, out of which, after appointments to 23 posts, the health department has made 33 posts handicap. Keeping the reservation for the disabled, the recruitment process was banned. Hearing the petition filed by him in the year 2021, the court had issued orders to start the recruitment process for the vacant posts of ANM within 2 months. The petitioner says that the recruitment process has not yet been started on the ANM posts that were stopped by not following the orders of the court.
