On Buddha Purnima, bathing starts from 4 am at Haridwar Harki Paidi

Snan Muhurta will be from 4:12 in the morning to 4:55 in the evening.
Haridwar. On Vaisakh Shukla Purnima i.e. Buddha Purnima, bathing has started at Haridwar Harki Paidi and other Ganga ghats from 4 am itself. People are wishing for peace by bathing and worshiping in the Ganges. The auspicious time of bath has started from 4:12 in the morning.
It is believed that bathing in the Ganga Ghats has special significance on this day. People worship Lord Buddha. Many people also get Lord Satyanarayana worshiped in their homes.
Astrologer DrAccording to Prateek Mishrapuri, the Vaishakhi date will last till 11.30 pm on Friday night. The auspicious time of bath will be from 4:12 in the morning to 4:55 in the evening. There is a ritual of worshiping Lord Vishnu’s Kurma and Buddha avatar on Vaishakh Purnima.
It is believed that Lord Buddha was born on this day. He also attained enlightenment on this day. That’s why Hindus and Buddhists celebrate this day. Staying in the shadow of the moon on the night of full moon gives health. Siddhi Yoga is also being formed this time on Buddha Purnima. In which the virtuous deeds done would get manifold results
