One dog shot, another mounted a car

He also threatened to kill the dog’s owner.

. A pet dog was shot and injured and another was killed by a vehicle in Kunda police station area.
Buta Singh, son of Mohan Singh, a resident of Pinstora Dak Karanpur, has submitted a complaint to the Kunda police station. He said that at around 6 am on Monday morning, his two pet dogs were walking on the gate outside the male and female house. Meanwhile, Jitendra son Avtar Singh, who lives in the neighborhood, came in his car and shot a dog, due to which he was seriously injured. After this, he put his car on the female dog. He died on the spot.
The victim said that when his son came out of the house after hearing the sound of bullets, Jitendra ran away in his car. The entire incident was captured in a CCTV camera installed at the house. Jitendra called up his son Surjit Singh after some time and threatened to kill him if he reported to the police.
Kunda police station inspector Dinesh Singh Furtyal said that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered under sections 428, 506 and prevention of cruelty to animals Act 1960. The post-mortem of the deceased dog is being conducted. Further action is being taken after investigating the matter.
