Paper leak episode: Retired teacher arrested


The amount was fixed from six candidates, was taken to Biharigarh
Haridwar.
SIT has made another arrest in Patwari recruitment paper leak case. The arrested is a retired teacher and he had fixed the amount from six candidates. The SIT has recovered Rs 2 lakh and checks from him.
On Friday, SP Crime and SIT in-charge Rekha Yadav at Roshanabad police office told that Abhayram resident Pitpur Laksar, who was caught in rigging the Patwari recruitment exam, had retired from the post of teacher last year. He met Rajpal and Sanjeev Dubey through one of his relatives. Together with both of them, he had fixed the amount for providing question paper to six candidates. Later, he took them to the resort in Biharigarh.
SIT in-charge Rekha Yadav told that the candidates who reached the resort through the accused have been identified. Necessary evidence is being collected from them. An amount of two lakh rupees and checks taken from the candidates for security have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The accused has been produced before the Anti-Corruption Court in Dehradun and sent to jail
