Pardi gang’s reward for breaking the eyes of a constable with a slingshot in Haridwar arrested from Noida

STF got a big success, the incident took place in Haridwar on the night of 26 May 2022.

Haridwar. The leader of the Pardi gang, who burst the eyes of a constable with a slingshot in Haridwar, was arrested by the STF of Uttarakhand Police in Noida. The accused was absconding for a year. A reward of Rs 50 thousand was also announced on him.
STF SSP Ayush Aggarwal said that on the night of 26 May 2022, two constables posted in the Cheetah Unit of Ranipur police station in Haridwar were catching a criminal in Shivalik Nagar and interrogating him. Then some of his comrades attacked the policemen. One of them attacked with a slingshot, damaging a soldier’s eye. After this the accused absconded. Investigation revealed that all the accused are members of the notorious Pardi gang. They had committed thefts in different areas of Haridwar.
In the next few days, Haridwar Police arrested six accused, while the leader of Pardi gang, Vikram, resident of Mehtab Park, Agra (Uttar Pradesh), who had burst the eye of a constable with a slingshot, was absconding. IG Garhwal had announced a reward of Rs 50 thousand on him.
STF, which was searching for Vikram, recently received information that he was hiding in Dadri, Noida. On this a police team was sent there, which arrested him last Friday.
Vikram told that he had a gang of seven people. On the night of the incident, he had entered a house in Shivalik Nagar, Haridwar to commit theft. Just then two policemen reached there. To escape from them he attacked with a slingshot.
