Dehradun. There was a major reshuffle in the Uttarakhand Police Department on Wednesday. The government has issued transfer orders of eight police officers. Uttarakhand government has reshuffled eight police officers including police captains of four districts Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Chamoli.
Ajay Singh has been made the Senior Superintendent of Police of Dehradun district.
Home Additional Secretary Atar Singh has issued an order in this regard. The government has relieved Dehradun district Senior Superintendent of Police Dalip Singh Kunwar from this post and posted him on the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Information. Ajay Singh, who was the Senior Superintendent of Police of Haridwar district, has been sent to Dehradun on the same post. Pramendra Dobal has been made Senior Superintendent of Police in Haridwar.
Nainital Senior Superintendent of Police Pankaj Bhatt has been sent to the post of Commander, 46th Corps PAC Rudrapur. Prahlad Narayan Meena has been made the Senior Superintendent of Police of Nainital. Rekha Yadav will be the Superintendent of Police of Chamoli district. She was posted as Superintendent of Police Traffic in Haridwar. Inspector General of Police Nilesh Anand Bharane has been removed from the post of Inspector General of Police of Kumaon Division and sent to P&M on the same post. Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat has been made Inspector General of Police, Kumaon Division
