. In a road accident in Suyalbari, Garampani, the pick-up driver’s chest was cut through. The driver has been referred from Haldwani to Higher Center Rishikesh AIIMS.
Mohit (18) son Kishan Ram, a resident of Betalghat in Nainital district, drives the pickup. He was going to Almora on Thursday afternoon with sand. The pickup fell on the bridge under construction 25 feet below the road near Katyay Nala. The rebar crossed Mohit Kumar’s chest. The police reached the information and cut the back part of the rebar by taking cutters from the laborers working on the bridge. After this, he walked himself and sat in the ambulance with a 1.5 cm rebar in his chest.
Admitted to Haldwani STH. At 4.30 the family also reached STH. At around 8.38 pm, the patient was referred to Rishikesh in STH’s hi-tech ambulance.
