Chief Minister launches “Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Free Gas Refill Yojana” from Pauri district
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works worth Rs 94.28 crore from Kandolia Ground in Pauri.
Pauri. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the Chief Minister Antyodaya Free Gas Refill Scheme from Kandolia Maidan in Pauri Garhwal on Sunday. The scheme was launched by giving the benefit of gas refill to 23 women in the presence of Cabinet Ministers Rekha Arya and Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat. Under this scheme, Antyodaya families will be given the benefit of 03 free gas refills in 01 year and about 1 lakh 76 thousand Antyodaya card holders will get its benefit in the entire state. On the occasion of the launch of this scheme, ministers and MLAs from all over the state were also connected online.
In the program, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works worth a total of Rs 94.28 crore related to the development works of the district, in which the foundation stone of 9 development works worth Rs 53 crore 65 lakh was laid and development works worth Rs 40 crore 63 lakh were inaugurated. The development works for which the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone include a total of 05 works related to Yamkeshwar and Kotdwar areas of Irrigation Block Dugadda, 02 motorway construction works under Construction Block Lonivi Srinagar and 02 schemes related to Uttarakhand Drinking Water Corporation Pauri. Similarly, the development works inaugurated include security improvement and security works in Lansdon and Pauri of Lonivi Pauri and works related to drinking water scheme and flood protection in Pauri and Kotdwar areas of Uttarakhand Drinking Water Corporation Pauri.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami in his address said that this scheme will give impetus to realize the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of smoke free India and will make the life of women more healthy and easy. He said that upliftment and empowerment of mother power is our priority and keeping this in mind, we have implemented schemes like 30 percent reservation in government services, Gaura Shakti App Registration, Tilu Rauteli Samman, Lakhpati Didi Yojana, Nanda-Gaura Devi Yojana etc.
The Chief Minister said that our goal is to bring Uttarakhand in the list of leading states by 2025. For this, we are focusing more on infrastructure creation and connectivity. He said that with the guidance and inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Modi, Along with India, Uttarakhand is also striving to achieve new heights of development. The Chief Minister said that we are also concerned about the interests of the youth, that is why we have made such a strong and strict anti-cheating law in the state so that no anti-social element will bother to cheat in recruitment examinations. We have made provisions in this law from confiscating the property of the cheating gang, sending them to jail and imposing heavy fines on them. The candidate who cheats will also be disqualified for any recruitment for 10 years. All the criminals involved in the recruitment scams will not be spared at all.
The Chief Minister said that funds will be sanctioned for early completion of the construction work of Pauri Bus Stand. The Chief Minister also made several announcements on the occasion, including construction of multi-storey parking in Pauri, beautification of the main market of the historic town Pauri and developing it as heritage road from Dhara Road to Agency Chowk, construction of 42 meter bridge on Khoh river near Dugadda village Sakali, development block of Yamkeshwar Vidhan Sabha. In the Development Block Yamkeshwar area, the work of declaring Kanwar under Neelkanth area will be done, completion of sewer line works in Srinagar, construction of upazila hospital in Thalisain, construction of parking in Dhari Devi Srinagar and parking in Tripalisain. He said that wheat rice has already been provided in the food department. Sugar and salt will also be started at cheaper rates soon. He also talked about making an action plan to provide oil and spices at cheaper rates.
The Chief Minister congratulated the Chief Minister for getting the first place in the state by sanctioning 2136 loans against the total target of 2100 under the National Rural Livelihood Mission and getting the second position in the state by sanctioning 636 loans against the target 500 in the district under the Chief Minister’s Self Employment Scheme.
On this occasion, Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Smt. Rekha Arya said in her address that the government has provided facilities like Jan Dhan Yojana, free ration, gas, sanitation, housing, etc. to the public. Our aim is to provide clean fuel and a better life, in which the government is constantly striving. Said that understanding the suffering of women, we are implementing many schemes related to their welfare. He said that Chief Minister Antyodaya Free Gas Refill Scheme will bring a welfare change in the lives of the women of Uttarakhand.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, District Panchayat President Mrs. Shanti Devi, MLA Pauri Rajkumar Pori, Lansdowne Mahant Dilip Rawat and Yamkeshwar Renu Bisht, Secretary Food and Supply Affairs Brijesh Kumar Sant, District Magistrate Pauri Dr. Ashish Chauhan, SSP Shweta Choubey along with Concerned officers, employees and public were present.
