Chief Secretary will soon visit Pithoragarh and test the preparations
Dehradun. Preparations have been started for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Pithoragarh in October. In this sequence, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi held a meeting of all the departments and gave necessary guidelines.
In the meeting held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, Raturi said that for the success of the PM’s visit, all the departments from the district administration, Army, ITBP, BRO, central communication agencies will have to work in coordination. Instructed the Transport Department, UREDA and VIP Movement to make concrete arrangements for the supply of solar energy in Joling Kong and other inaccessible places. The Chief Secretary will soon visit Pithoragarh and test the preparations. During this, DGP Ashok Kumar, Special Principal Secretary Abhinav Kumar, Secretary AS. Hayanki, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat and Pithoragarh District Magistrate Reena Joshi were present through virtual medium.
