Police administration’s eye on tension in Uttarkashi district against Love Jihad
Dehradun. There is a police alert on the increased tension in Uttarkashi district against love jihad and calls from the local people to call a mahapanchayat on June 15. Additional Director General of Police V Murugesan has instructed SP Uttarkashi to maintain law and order.
The ADG said that a case has been registered against the accused for trying to elope the minor in Uttarkashi district Purola and he has been sent to jail. Keeping in mind the tension, the police is fully alert. A mahapanchayat has been called on behalf of the local people on June 15.
