Young man had illicit relationship with constable’s wife, constable murdered the young man under the cover of Haldwani violence
Haldwani. Prakash, who had illicit relations with a constable’s wife and then blackmailing her, was shot dead on February 8. Constable Virendra Singh, who carried out the incident under the cover of Banbhulpura violence, and other accused were caught by the police but his wife has not been arrested yet.
The dead body of Prakash Kumar Singh alias Aviraj (25 years), son of Shyam Dev Singh, resident of Chenegaon Sinha Bhojpur Bihar, was found near Amla Chowki Gate on February 9. When it was revealed, it was found that Prakash had an illicit relationship with the wife of constable Virendra Singh, posted at Chorgaliya police station and a resident of village Aalavrdhi Khatima. He had made intimate videos with the constable’s wife and was continuously blackmailing her. The woman told this to her constable husband and the constable conspired to murder her. He, along with his wife, brother-in-law Prem Singh, resident of Kichha, Suraj Bain, resident of Shakti Farm and Naeem Khan, resident of Banbhulpura, shot Prakash in the head near Amla Chowki Gate. In the case, the police have arrested everyone except the constable’s wife, but the woman has not been caught. SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena says that the woman accused of murder will be arrested soon.
