Posters of nine absconding accused including main conspirator of Haldwani violence Abdul Malik released

Posters of nine absconding accused including Abdul Malik, the main conspirator of the Banbhulpura riots, have been released. On Friday, there was relaxation of four hours in the sensitive area Banbhulpura and eight hours in the surrounding areas. No one was allowed to move outside in this area.
On February 8, in Banbhulpura, the team of Municipal Corporation, Police and Administration, which had come to demolish the Madrasa and Najam site built on government land (Nazul), was attacked. There was even arson and firing. To calm the matter, the curfew relaxation was extended by one hour on Friday, the ninth day. Relief was given in the Banbhulpura sensitive area from 8 am to 9 pm and curfew remained in place from 8 am to 4 pm in the surrounding areas.
During the relaxation period, people purchased essential commodities in the same area and got treatment at the health centre. Traffic from outside is still not allowed in this area. On the instructions of SSP PN Meena, the poster of main conspirators Abdul Malik, son Abdul Moeed, Taslim, Wasim alias Happa, Ayaz Ahmed, Raees alias Dattu, Shakeel Ansari, Maukin Saifi, Zia Ul Rehman has been released.
A request has been made to provide information about these by pasting posters at different places in the city. The police had also issued a look out circular against Abdul Malik and his son a day earlier. Now 42 accused have been arrested in this case. Who have been sent to jail.
ADG Administration (Police) Amit Sinha visited the curfew affected area Banbhulpura along with DIG Yogendra Rawat and SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena. After this he also came to see the new post built in Malik’s garden. Here, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat has started a magisterial inquiry. However, due to curfew being imposed, the investigation is not progressing. The commissioner said that the government will be requested to extend the time of investigation.
