Rain wreaks havoc in Uttarakhand, 4 including 12-year-old girl killed

. Heavy rains continue to wreak havoc in Uttarakhand. Four people, including a teenager, died in separate incidents on Thursday.
58-year-old Indra Singh, a resident of Khetalsanda Mustajar in Khatima, went to the field on the banks of Saniya Nullah for morning walk at 7 am on Wednesday. He died due to flowing in the drain. Nitin Tiwari, a resident of Puranpur Chakalwa, was going to the temple with his cousin Pankaj Tiwari in Kaladhungi on Thursday afternoon. Both were washed away while crossing the Baur river. Beat watchers save Pankaj. About two and a half hours later, Nitin’s body was recovered eight hundred meters away from the spot. In Doiwala, the girl child died due to drowning in the water that entered the house. And in Rishikesh, a monk lost his life due to wall collapse.
