Haridwar. The track of Jhilmil Lake located in Rasiyabad has been opened for tourists for jungle safari. Tourists will have to pay Rs 50 extra for jungle safari.
SDO Forest Division Haridwar Sadhulal inaugurated the Jungle Safari by cutting the ribbon. He said that according to the government guidelines, along with the repair of the track and watch tower, arrangements for tent rooms for the stay of tourists have been made. Tourists will also be able to stay the night during jungle safari. The approximately 22 km long track passes through dense forest. A beautiful view of the banks of Ganga is also visible in the safari. Tourists will be able to see hundreds of species of birds including elephant, deer, reindeer, guldar, leopard etc. during the safari.
Harish Gairola, unit in-charge of Jhilmil Lake Rasiyabad, said that now instead of Rs 150, a fee of Rs 200 per tourist will have to be paid. During this, a large number of tourists including Forest Inspector Gajpal Bhandari, Harish Juyal, forest workers Pradeep, Pawan Singh, Ashok Singh, Nature Guide Arun Saini, Tauqeer Alam, Lalit Nayak, Vinod were present.
