Rishikesh. The car fell into a deep gorge near Pipalkoti on the Laxmanjhula Neelkanth motorway. Three people died in the accident. While 10 people are injured. The treatment of the injured is going on in Rishikesh AIIMS and Rishikesh Government Hospital.According to the information received from the police, Suresh Kumar, a resident of Kasturi Vatika Colony, Rudrapur, Kichha Udhamsingh Nagar, along with his brother Dhamora, a resident of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, and his in-laws’ family, had come to visit the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. All these people reached Haridwar in two different vehicles from Rudrapur and Dhamora.
All 13 people from Haridwar had left for Neelkanth in the same Xylo car. His car suddenly went out of control and fell into a deep gorge on the Laxmanjhula Neelkanth Marg at around 4 pm on Sunday at a turn two km from Pipalkoti. After getting the information, the nearby villagers, police and SDRF team reached the spot.Rescued all the injured in the ditch with the help of villagers Suresh Kumar (35 years) son Chainsukh, his wife Pushpa Devi (30 years) son Divyansh (06 years) and daughter Dipti (04 years), Amit (36 years) son Chainsukh, Amit Wife Usha (35 years), son Harsh (08 years) and daughter Tannu (14 years), Sompal Rathore (55years), Chamoli Devi (50 years) wife Sompal and their daughter Kamlesh (20 years), Priyanka (15 years) daughter Bishamber Dayal and Vinay Kumar (19 years) son Bishamber Dayal were pulled out of the ditch
