Rudrapur’s loving couple committed suicide by consuming poison in Garhmukteshwar, went missing from home on 8th February

. The family members were not even aware of the closeness of the love couple who committed suicide by consuming poison in Garhmukteshwar, Hapur. Not only this, when both of them disappeared after leaving the house, the family members did not even realize that they were going together. Due to which both their families were searching for them separately. The family members are also shocked by the suicidal act of both of them.
Sakinder’s wife Rekha (32) had gone missing under suspicious circumstances on February 8 in Durga Colony of Ward 32 Bhurarani. Rekha, who runs a grocery shop near the house, had left home to buy goods from the market. Rekha’s husband had gone to the police station and lodged an application regarding his wife’s missing person, which was registered by the police in the GD.
The family members were searching for Rekha who was missing leaving behind three children Meenakshi, Kshitij and Aanvi. On the morning of February 8, Bablu (19), living in the same colony, had also left home for work. When Bablu, who left home on foot without a bike, did not return, his family members were searching for him. On Saturday night, Hapur police informed Bablu’s family that Bablu and Rekha had consumed poison and they died in Meerut Medical College. After this both their families left for Hapur.
Here, both the families are shocked by the news of their death. The people of the locality say that they had never seen the two even talking to each other. No one knew that a love affair was going on between the two. Outgoing councilor Mohan Kheda told that Sakinder and Rekha were married for 17 years. Sakinder runs a dhaba in Rudrapur. Rekha and Bablu had switched off their phones after leaving home. Due to which no contact could be made with him.
Bablu used to work in a glass factory in Bhurarani. He also used to go to other districts to install mirrors. On the morning of February 8, he had left the bike at home saying that he would install glass in the Kaladhungi on foot but did not return till evening. Bablu’s mother told that when she called, the number was switched off. He had not even thought that Bablu would take such a big step. Bablu was the youngest among four siblings and his father had died.
There has been talk of a love affair between Rekha and Bablu, the mother of three children, for a long time. But both of them neither let their family members nor the local people know about it. Both of them planned to run away from home on February 8. According to family members, Bablu had left the house in the morning on the pretext of work and in the afternoon Rekha also left on the pretext of buying goods from the shop. It is being told that both of them ran away from home, but later got scared. This might have been the reason why both of them consumed poison.
