Scooty hit by JCB, woman killed, daughter injured

Haridwar. A woman riding a scooty died in a JCB collision at Bahadarabad Kali Mata Mandir Tirahe at around 12 noon on Sunday. The woman was going to Bahadarabad Medical Store to get medicines sitting on the back of the scooty with her daughter.
When the scooty reached Kali Mata Mandir Tirahe, JCB coming from Roorkee direction hit the woman’s scooty from behind.
Due to which the woman sitting behind, Sharmila Devi, wife of late Roshan Singh, aged 50 years, resident of Canal Colony, Bahadarabad, died painfully on the spot. The condition of the daughter driving the scooty is normal. The Bahadarabad police reached the spot and sent the woman’s body to the district hospital for postmortem and took the JCB into their custody
