Show cause notice to IGL’s Kashipur distillery on charges of supplying ethyl alcohol to make spurious liquor
Dehradun. The Excise Commissioner suspended six personnel, including the inspector, after a spurious country liquor factory was caught in Roshanpur village of Udhamsinghnagar. A show-cause notice has been issued to IGL’s Kashipur distillery on charges of supplying ethyl alcohol to make spurious liquor.
According to Excise Commissioner Hari Chandra Semwal, in the case of spurious liquor factory, prima facie the negligence of the personnel of the concerned area has been exposed. Therefore, Excise Inspector Bajpur Mohan Singh Koranga, Excise Inspector Additional Charge District Enforcement Sonu Singh, Deputy Excise Inspector District Enforcement Devendra Kumar, Head Excise Constable Nitin Kumar, Excise Constable Jagwati, Dharam Singh were suspended with immediate effect. Along with this, the investigation of the episode is also being started. So that other aspects including the negligence or involvement of personnel in spurious liquor case can come to the fore
