Haridwar. A case has come to light of a father raping his daughter and embarrassing the relationship. On the complaint of the victim’s mother, the Kankhal police have registered a case under POCSO and arrested the accused Kalyugi’s father. The accused is basically a resident of Baghpat in UP and has been working as a tailor in Kankhal for the last 40 years. According to the information received from the police, after the death of the victim’s father, her mother had married the accused. The accused was threatening and raping the minor daughter of the second wife for five years. He used to threaten to kill himself and his daughter on telling anyone. When the victim’s mother came to know about this, she lodged a complaint with the police. The accused has three children from his first wife. The first wife is disabled and is also suffering from epilepsy. Police has arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
