After Operation Sindoor carried out by India, Pakistan’s political leadership has intensified efforts to give the country’s people a false sense of ‘victory’. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing the nation at around 11 pm after the ceasefire, made several serious allegations against India. However, most of these allegations are not only baseless, but have also been completely rejected by the Indian Army and the Ministry of Defense.
False claim of shooting down Rafale fighter aircraft
Sharif claimed that the Pakistan Air Force has targeted and disabled India’s Rafale aircraft. Pakistan’s reputed media organization DAWN gave prominence to this statement, but no such loss has been confirmed by the Indian Air Force and the Ministry of Defense. Nor has any information about the loss of Rafale aircraft been revealed, which proves this claim to be completely baseless.
False propaganda of destruction of Indian military infrastructure
Sharif also said that when India targeted Pakistan’s military bases, the Pakistan Army destroyed the Indian military infrastructure within a few hours. But the reality is that most of the drones and missiles fired by Pakistan were destroyed mid-air by the Indian air defense system. There has been no report of any major damage from India.
False allegation of attack on religious places
Shahbaz Sharif also accused India of targeting civilian and religious places, which the Indian Army has categorically denied. According to the army, all the attacks were focused only on terrorist bases and civilian or religious places were not deliberately targeted under any circumstances. While Pakistan is making claims beyond facts in an attempt to confuse its public, India has retaliated with restraint and strategic clarity focused only on terrorism, which shows the maturity of its policy and international commitment.
