Swift car of tourists going from Dehradun to Chakrata fell into a ditch, one killed, four injured

The incident happened near Devvan ahead of Vikas Nagar Lokhandi, went uncontrolled and fell into the ditch
The Swift car of tourists who had come to visit Chakrata from Dehradun went out of control near Deovan ahead of Lokhandi and fell into a ditch. In the accident, a person traveling in the car died on the spot. While four others were seriously injured.
The incident is being told late Saturday evening. Vinay Kashyap’s son Surendra Kumar, a resident of Khudbuda Mohalla Dehradun, died due to the car accident. Apart from this, four people including car rider Ayush Kansal resident Mata Mandir Dehradun, Yaman Sahni resident Dalanwala Dehradun, Aditya resident Rajeev Nagar Dehradun and Vasu Sahni resident Dalanwala Dehradun were seriously injured.
After the information of the incident, the team of Revenue Police and SDRF reached the spot late in the evening. The police team, with the help of the local villagers, descended into the ditch 200 meters below and somehow pulled out the injured and took them to Chakrata Hospital for treatment. From where the injured were referred to Higher Center Dehradun. Revenue Inspector Rajendra Singh said that the relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident. The police team has kept the dead body filled with Panchnama in the mortuary of CHC Chakrata for postmortem
