Haldwani. The administration has found a place in Transport Nagar for a temporary roadways bus station. Officials of Transport Department and ADB have finalized the land for Roadways Bus Station in Transport Nagar during inspection on Wednesday. The administration will now start the process of building a temporary bus stand here.
The pressure of increasing traffic in the city has increased considerably. Due to which there is always a problem of traffic jam. The presence of a bus stand in the middle of the city is also considered to be a major reason for this. In such a situation, efforts were started to move the roadways bus stand out of the city. The District Magistrate had also given instructions to search for land for a temporary bus stand. On Wednesday, officials of the Transport Department and ADB along with City Magistrate Richa Singh inspected the temporary roadways bus station in the grounds of Gandhi School, but during the inspection, the administration suspected some technical problems there, after which the administration ordered Gandhinagar School. The field was rejected. After which the entire administration team reached the vacant plot in Transport Nagar and inspected it. During the inspection the team inspected the place closely. After which the officials of Transport Department and ADB have finalized the vacant plot of land located at Transport Nagar for a temporary roadways bus stand. Whose report has also been sent to the District Magistrate. It is believed that soon further action for the construction of the bus stand will be started.
