Accused of triple murder in Gangolihat absconding, wife also disappeared from home due to fear
Pithoragarh. In Bursham village of Gangolihat in Pithoragarh district, there has been a stir due to the incident of murder of a young man’s own mother, cousin and cousin’s wife with a sharp weapon. The accused is absconding. The wife of the accused has also disappeared out of fear. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused often used to quarrel with his cousin. The cousin had complained about him to the police administration, due to which he became enraged. He committed the triple murder. The accused Chholia is an artist. The revenue police reached the village and sent the dead bodies for postmortem. The search is on for the accused. The incident took place at 5 am on Friday. The families of two brothers Sher Ram and Mohan Ram live side by side in Chantola Tok of Bursham Gram Panchayat. Sher Ram is the paternal uncle of the murderer Santosh Ram. It is being told that Santosh Ram used to fight with his uncle’s family every day. Whose complaint was made by his uncle’s son Joga Ram to the police and administration.
Santosh Ram s/o Mohan Ram killed his neighbor Hemanti Devi 70 years wife Sher Ram, cousin’s wife Rama Devi 26 years wife Joga Ram and cousin Maya Devi wife 24 years Deepak Kumar with a sharp weapon. Joga Ram, the son of Sher Ram, had gone somewhere, due to which his life was saved. The killer’s second aunt went to the cowshed and with her a grandson and granddaughter also went to the cowshed, which saved their lives. Santosh Ram has absconded after carrying out this incident and his wife is also absconding along with him
