CM reviews development works with officials in Damkothi

Haridwar. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami and Haridwar Member of Parliament Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank took a review meeting regarding development works etc. with officials at Damkothi during their visit to Haridwar on Sunday.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami took detailed information from the District Magistrate Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey regarding the progress of various development schemes going on in Haridwar district and instructed the officers that whatever public welfare schemes are going on, their benefits should be given to the last rung. Mentioning the Chardham Yatra, the Chief Minister said that Haridwar is the main stop of the Chardham Yatra, considering which special attention should be paid to all kinds of arrangements here, especially the cleanliness of Haridwar city and the Ganges ghats. Discussing about the traffic arrangements, the District Magistrate said that in view of the Chardham Yatra, there should be no jam situation at Dudhdhari or other places, for this, various alternative schemes-fixing the time for no entry of heavy vehicles, proper arrangement of parking etc. The work has been started.
On taking information from the Chief Minister regarding law and order etc., the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Ajay Singh said that various programs organized on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti have been completed smoothly and safely and the law and order is tight and sound. Apart from this, strict steps are being taken to ensure that all examinations are conducted without cheating and successfully.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister also held detailed discussions on land related matters etc. and gave directions.
Earlier, the Chief Minister paid a courtesy call on Sakshi Maharaj and discussed with the office bearers and workers about the various development schemes being implemented in Haridwar.
