The doors of Gangotri Dham will be closed on 14th and Kedarnath on 15th November.

Dehradun. Now the date and time of closing the doors of Gangotri Dham and Kedarnath Dham has also been decided in Uttarakhand. The time for closing the doors of Gangotri Dham has been fixed. The doors of the Dham will be closed on November 14 at 11:45 pm in Abhijeet Muhurta.
The doors of Yamunotri and Kedarnath Dham will be closed on November 15 on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj. The time for closing the doors has not been decided yet. At the same time, the date and auspicious time of closing the doors of Badrinath Dham will be fixed on 24th October on Vijayadashami festival.
On Sunday, on the beginning of Shardiya Navratri, in the presence of officials of Gangotri Temple Committee, the pilgrim priests took the auspicious time to close the doors of Gangotri Dham. Temple Committee Secretary Suresh Semwal said that as per tradition the doors of the Dham are closed on the occasion of Annakoot.
This time the crown of Mother Ganga will be lowered on 14th November at 10 am. After this, the Utsav Doli Yatra of Mother Ganga will depart for the winter migration destination Mukhimath (Mukhwa). The doors of Yamunotri will be closed on November 15 on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj festival.
At the same time, Dr. Harish Gaur, media in-charge of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, said that the doors of Kedarnath will also be closed on this day. Baba Kedar’s Panchmukhi Chal Vigraha Utsav Doli Yatra will leave for winter seat Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath.
