State Election Commissioner issued notification
Haridwar. The election of deputy heads in panchayats of Haridwar district will be held on February 16. State Election Commissioner Chandrashekhar Bhatt issued the notification for the election on Wednesday. The nomination and voting process will be completed in a single day.
Nominations will be held on February 16 from 10 am to 11 am for the post of deputy head in the gram panchayats of Haridwar district. After this there will be scrutiny of nominations from 11 to 12 noon. A chance to withdraw the nomination will be given from 12 to 12:30. The election symbol will be allotted between 12:30 to 1 pm.
Voting will be held between 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. After this, the counting of votes will start from 4 pm. The entire process of election will be done at the panchayat headquarter. The sale of nomination papers will be held between 10 to 15 February from 10 am to 5 pm and on February 16 from 8 am to 9:30 am at the Kshetra Panchayat headquarters.
