Three-day Rath Yatra ends in Bhikiyasain

Capital of hill state should be in mountain, Called for united struggle

Bhikiyasain (Almora) The three-day Rath Yatra of the state agitators came to an end today with a meeting held at Bhikiyasain.
In the meeting held at various places including Bhikiyasain, Chaukhutia, Masi, the speakers said that now there is no other option for development other than establishing the permanent capital of the state at Gairsain. It has been proved by the half-baked development of 22 years after the formation of the state that the hilly areas of the state cannot be developed from Dehradun. Delimitation of assembly constituencies on geographical basis, declaring Uttarakhand as a backward region has become necessary for the development of Uttarakhand. But all this will not be possible due to our present public representatives because they are under heavy pressure from their national leaders, so whether it is a matter of respect for state agitators or public problems, we have to fight our own battles. The state agitators gave a call to youth unemployed, retired employees and people fighting separate battles on various other issues to come on a common platform and fight unitedly.
The state agitators said that in fighting alone, we will continue to break down due to oppression. Brahmanand Dalakoti, Shivraj Banaula, Daulat Singh Bagadwal, Devnath Goswami, Vishambhar Petshali, Mohan Chandra Tiwari, Ram Singh, Vipin Pant Virendra, Vajetha, Parmanand Kandpal, Balwant Singh Negi, Narendra Mehra, Prem Singh Atwal, Pushkarpal Singh, Anand Nath Goswami. Many people including Madan Kathayat were present.
