Truck crushed the crowd gathered to watch the road accident, 5 killed, 15 injured

Lakhimpurkheri. A major road accident took place at around 7.40 pm on Saturday night in village Pangi Khurd of Kotwali’s Ramapur Chowki area, in which five people died. While more than 12 people have been injured. SP Ganesh Prasad Saha has reached the spot after getting information about the incident.
It is said that a scooty and a car collided near Pangi Khurd village on Aira Road at around 7.30 pm on Saturday evening, in which a scooty rider was seriously injured. People had already gathered to see him when a speeding 10-tyre truck coming from Lakhimpur went on trampling people. About five people died in this accident, while more than 12 people are said to be injured.
While eyewitnesses have told about the death of eight to 10 people. Because most of the injured have been sent to the district hospital in a hurry. SP Ganesh Prasad Saha told that the incident is being investigated. First the injured are being given proper treatment.

CM Yogi expressed grief
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the road accident in Lakhimpur Kheri. The Chief Minister has directed the officials of the district administration to take the injured to the hospital immediately and provide them proper treatment and the District Magistrate and senior police officers to go to the spot and get relief work done. He has wished for the speedy recovery of the injured
