Haldwani. A bike rider died in a road accident near Trimurti temple in Mukhani police station area. The deceased is Arayaj Navis.
According to the police, Deep Bhatt, a resident of Nakulia Bhitaura of Sitarganj, used to work as Arayaj Navis in Sitarganj tehsil. He is basically a resident of Okhalkanda block of Nainital district. Haldwani keeps coming and going for the work of Deep Tehsil. On Wednesday too, he was going back to Sitarganj on his bike number UK 06 BE 3988 after completing work from Haldwani. While overtaking truck number UP 87T 2080 near Lamachod, Deep’s bike came under the grip of the truck. During this, the bike fell away from the road due to the collision of the truck in the accident.
Deep came under the truck and the high speed crushed Deep’s head from the truck. He died on the spot in the accident. After the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot leaving the vehicle. During the accident, the dead body of the lamp and the truck standing in the middle of the road got jammed. Here the police got the information about the accident. Mukhani police reached the spot and opened the jam. And sent the dead body for postmortem. It is being told that Deep was married about three years ago and has a two-year-old daughter.
