Truck hits bus, 11 dead, 20 injured

The bus was going from Bhavnagar, Gujarat to Mathura, an accident happened on Antara flyover.

Bharatpur. A major road accident took place in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan on Wednesday morning. According to Bharatpur SP Mridul Kachhawa, 11 people have died in this road accident that occurred at around 4.30 in the morning. 20 people have been injured.
According to the information, the truck hit the bus, due to which 11 people died. This bus was going from Bhavnagar in Gujarat to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. The bus broke down at Hantara bridge of Jaipur-Agra National Highway. The driver tried to right the bus on the Antara flyover in Lakhanpur area. Meanwhile, the bus was hit from behind by a truck. Police said that five men and six women died on the spot.
According to the police control room, Antu, Nandram, Lallu, Bharat, Lalji, his wife Madhuben, Ambaben, Kambuben, Ramuben, Anjuben and Arvind’s wife Madhuben died in the accident. He was a resident of Dihor, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. All the people killed in this accident are residents of Bhavnagar. On receiving information about the accident, police officers including Lakhanpur, Nadbai, Halaina, Vair police station reached the spot and started investigation.
