Two and a half lakh devotees visited Chardham in a week, the time of darshan in Kedarnath increased by half an hour

Rudraprayag. The weather continues to deteriorate. Still, the enthusiasm of the Chardham Yatris is not diminishing. More than two and a half lakh devotees have visited in a week. In view of the increasing number of pilgrims in Kedarnath, the temple committee has extended the darshan time by half an hour. RC Tiwari, the executive officer of the temple committee, said that now the temple will be closed for one hour instead of one and a half hours for cleanliness and offering. Instead of three o’clock in the afternoon, the temple will be closed at three thirty and will be opened at four thirty in the evening. Night special worship is also being started from 11 pm.
Since the opening of the doors, till now the devotees have visited all the four dhams. Maximum enthusiasm is being seen at Baba Kedar’s door. 91,838 pilgrims have taken obeisance here. Of these, 14,273 pilgrims visited on Sunday. There is an influx of devotees in Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham as well. Throughout the day, 7408 devotees visited Maa Ganga and 5957 visited Maa Yamuna. A total of 61,379 pilgrims arrived in Gangotri and 55,239 in Yamunotri. Here, pilgrims have darshan of Lord Badri Vishal
