“Uncle” kidnaps minor girl while going to school

Fell unconscious after drinking intoxicants while sitting in the car, did dirty work and the girl student recovered

Dehradun. Police arrested a person resident of Haryana and freed the kidnapped girl student. The police have added rape and POCSO Act to the kidnapping case. Police has produced the accused in the court and sent him to jail.
On August 6, a woman had given a complaint in Kotwali. In it, he said that his minor daughter left home in the morning asking her to go to school, but she neither reached school nor came back home. After this he was searched a lot, but he could not be found.
Kotwal Sanjay Kumar filed a case under the sections of kidnapping and handed over the investigation post to Vivek Bhandari. On this, the police team inspected the spot and checked the CCTV cameras installed nearby. The help of the surveillance team was also taken. On Wednesday, the police team stopped a Delhi number car while checking on the way towards Asan Barrage.
By car, the police arrested the accused Ravindra resident of Village Zehari Police Station Sonipat District Sonipat (Haryana). Also freed the kidnapped girl student. During interrogation, the student told that she already knew the accused. Uncle used to call him. On August 6, while going to school, he made her sit in his car and made her drink some intoxicating drink, due to which she fainted. When she regained consciousness, she was in Haridwar. The accused misbehaved with her at different places. After this he was coming to leave her. During this the police caught him.
According to outpost in-charge Bazar, the accused Ravindra used to contract with the student’s father and used to come and go at home. SOG constables Jitendra Kumar, Sohan, Ikrar Aarti etc. were included in the police team formed under the leadership of Bhandari, Vikasnagar market outpost in-charge.
