On Saturday, a speeding car coming to Haldwani hit three bikes in village Samsana on Nainital road. Bike rider Mo. Arif (30), a resident of Barhaini village, died on the spot in the accident. His wife Gudiya (25), who was sitting behind, was seriously injured. The same car hit and injured Swaranjit Kaur and her husband Jeet Singh, who were riding on another bike.
Gautam, who was riding on the third bike, was injured. People took the injured to the CHC with the help of the police. From here Gudiya and Swarnajeet Kaur were referred to the Higher Center. Kotwal Praveen Singh Koshyari told that Gudiya also died late Friday evening at STH Haldwani.
