Uttarakhand: The doors of Chardham will open on this date, date announced

According to the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee, the portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri will open on April 22 on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Purohit Mahasabha President Purushottam Uniyal and Secretary Shri Panch Gangotri Temple Committee Suresh Semwal told that auspicious time and auspicious time will be decided on the Shashti Tithi of Yamuna Jayanti Chaitra Shukla.
The doors of Kedarnath temple will be opened on 26 April. At the same time, the date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham has also been announced on Thursday. This year the doors of Badrinath will open on April 27 at 7.10 am.
Last year, more than 46 lakh pilgrims reached Chardham in 2022. The Chardham Yatra, which went on without restrictions after two years of the Corona period, created a new record last year. For the first time, more than 46 lakh pilgrims visited the Char Dhams.
The Chardham Yatra came to an end with the closing of the doors of Badrinath Dham on 19th November. Let us inform that last year 17 lakh 60 thousand 646 devotees reached Badrinath Dham.
A record number of 624451 pilgrims reached Gangotri Dham while 485635 pilgrims reached Yamunotri Dham for darshan. A record more than 15 lakh devotees reached the Kedarnath Yatra. While the yatra did a business of 211 crores
