Accident happened near Amodi Khatoli road, CM expressed grief
Champawat. A vehicle went uncontrolled and fell into a ditch at Amodi Khatoli road in Champawat district. Three people died in the accident, while two people were seriously injured.
According to the District Disaster Operation Center, the accident took place on Amodi Khatoli road on Sunday afternoon. The deceased include Rajendra Singh s/o Kunwar Singh aged 40 years resident of Talli Khatauli, Shankar Singh s/o Man Singh aged 55 years resident of Kanda Dola and Jagat s/o Madhav Singh aged 62 years resident of Ladabora. Among the injured are Kundan Singh s/o Laxman Singh, age 50 years, resident Pachnai Swaroop Singh, s/o Shri Paan Singh, age 44 years, resident Talli Khatauli etc. Injured Kundan Singh was referred from Tanakpur to Higher Center Sushila Tiwari Hospital Haldwani after priority treatment. Expressing grief over the incident, District Magistrate Narendra Singh Bhandari expressed his condolences to the dead and informed that all possible treatment should be given to the injured.
