Rar in Congress is not stopping due to regional and caste balance in the organization
Dehradun. The factionalism within the Congress is not stopping. State Congress President Karan Mahara targeted former cabinet minister and MLA Tilak Raj Behar and former Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh over regional and caste balance in the organization in the state. On the other hand, Pritam Singh, without delay in retaliating, advised Mahara to speak at the appropriate forum within the party.
Talking to reporters, State Congress President Karan Mahara countered the statement of Kichha MLA and former minister Tilakraj Behad regarding the neglect of regional and caste balance in Congress in the state. Without naming Behad, he was accused of praising BJP leader and Union Minister Ajay Bhatt. It is said that in the BJP which is being praised, such balance is not made an issue in the organization. When Ajay Bhatt was the BJP state president, he was also the leader of the opposition.
Former Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh was also targeted for his statement regarding the state in-charge. He said that the statement on the charge is unnecessary. The in-charge has been posted by the party high command. The statement against him will be considered against the high command. Congress workers are agitating every week in the state only on the instructions of the in-charge. Starting from Joshimath, the party is raising all the issues prominently.
At the same time, former Leader of Opposition and Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh retaliated against State Congress President Karan Mahara. Giving advice, he said that Karan Mahara should also keep his point on a proper platform. If this rule applies to everyone, then the chairman will also have to follow it. Said that the party high command has taken cognizance of the situation in the state from time to time. Every worker of the party is devoted to the national leadership. On Tilakraj Behad’s statement, he said that there is internal democracy in the Congress.
