Was getting his girlfriend into prostitution, arrested by Haridwar Police

Haridwar. A Delhi youth, his girlfriend and a customer, who was prostituting his girlfriend, were arrested by the joint team of Anti Human Trafficking Squad and Jwalapur Police. The young man living here for several months was running a network of prostitution business. Rs 4200 and two mobile phones have been recovered from the possession of the youth. The police team presented the accused in the court, from where they were sent to jail.
On Thursday, SSP Pramendra Dobal said that information was being received regarding prostitution business in the city for some time. The anti-human trafficking squad was instructed to investigate the network. Late on Wednesday night, the team along with Jwalapur police arrested the young man and his girlfriend who were dealing with the customer near Tibri underpass, at some distance from Old Ranipur turn. During interrogation at the police station, it was revealed that both are in a live-in relationship and the boyfriend forces the girlfriend into prostitution.
The boyfriend revealed his name as Aman Rai, resident of Gandhinagar, New Delhi. At the same time, the girlfriend, who is originally from Nepal, is a resident of Street Number 6, Chor Market, Anand Vihar, Old Delhi. SSP told that the name of the customer is Adil Malik resident of Kishan Kunj Laxmi Nagar Delhi. A case has been registered against the accused under the Prostitution Act. SSP said that all three accused including the woman were produced in the court and sent to jail.
