Case of Rudpur, the dead body was lying in the bed when the girlfriend reached the lover’s house
Rudrapur. The dead body of a young man from Rampura was found in the bed under suspicious circumstances after threatening his girlfriend to commit suicide in a video call. There was chaos in the family members. Suspecting his murder, he demanded action from the police. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it to postmortem.
According to the police, 20-year-old Shiva Koli’s son Naresh Koli, a resident of Rampura ward number 25, was having a love affair with a girl from the locality. Both wanted to marry each other, but for some days there was a rift between them. Late on Monday night, Shiva made a WhatsApp video call to his girlfriend and threatened her to commit suicide.
The girl went to Shiva’s house along with her family members and informed her relatives about the matter. When Shiva’s relatives reached his room, he was lying dead on the bed. Seeing this, there was uproar among the relatives. On information, Kotwal Vikram Rathore, Rampura outpost in-charge Arjun Giri Goswami reached with police personnel and took information. Along with filling the panchnama, the dead body was sent to the postmortem
