Haridwar. Police have revealed the horrific incident of a sister killing her brother in Kotwali Luxor area. The brother had caught the sister in an objectionable condition with her boyfriend. The sister conspired and fed sleep medicine to the whole family. When the whole family was sleeping, the brother was kidnapped by his lover. The brother was murdered and buried by digging a pit in the enclosure.
According to the police, on March 10, a mysterious case came to the notice of Haridwar police when Sethpal son Pitambar, a resident of village Dhadheki Dhanna Laksar, lodged a complaint with Kotwali Luxor, stating that on the night of March 6, his entire family suddenly fell asleep in a deep sleep and during this time his son Kulveer alias Sher Singh, aged 17, disappeared under suspicious circumstances. The sleep was also suspicious because according to the complainant, the entire family was found in an inebriated state when they woke up.
Considering the seriousness of the case, according to the complaint, a case was registered at Kotwali Luxor under Section 139/23 IPC vs Unknown. Amid continuous efforts to search and recover the abducted youth Kulvir, the police team formed through informers got information that the kidnapped Kulveer’s sister had an affair with the neighboring youth Rahul, due to which the kidnapped Kulveer had several disputes with his sister and lover Rahul. On close interrogation of the minor sister of the abducted Kulveer, it was found that due to the love affair with the neighboring youth Rahul and being caught in an objectionable position, the girl’s brother was constantly beating the girl and also quarreling with Rahul. Seeing her brother becoming a thorn in her love affair, the young woman planned to kill her boyfriend Rahul and his friend.
Date 06. On 02.2023, when the lover brought sleeping pills, the young woman gave the whole family a mix of pills in milk at around 8.00 pm. When all the family members fell unconscious, at night, the girl, along with lover Rahul and Krishna, strangled Kulveer to death with a rope and buried Kulveer’s body by digging a pit in Rahul’s enclosure. The young woman had also consumed sleeping pills to mislead her family members and the police.
On the basis of the information revealed in the case, panchayatnama proceedings are being taken by recovering the body of the deceased from the enclosure of accused Rahul. Accused Rahul and his friend Krishna were detained by the police team.
The sister of the deceased is being questioned.
