New Delhi. The Ministry of Home Affairs has now decided to conduct written examination for the posts of Constable (General Duty) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in 13 regional languages apart from Hindi and English.
An official statement said that this historic decision has been taken on the initiative of Home Minister Amit Shah to increase the number of local youth in CAPFs and encourage regional languages. On Saturday, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant thanked the Central Government for including Konkani language in this examination to be conducted for constable posts. Sawant tweeted and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for taking this historic decision
