Raja (19), son of late, resident of Wellajali Lodge. Kewal used to work as a painter in a car service center located on Bareilly Road. According to the police, the youth often had disputes at home regarding food. Even last Sunday night, when Raja returned home from work, he got into an argument with his elder sisters when he did not find food ready. However, after this the king had his meal and went to the complex under construction on the roof to sleep.
On Monday morning, when the family members saw him hanging from the ceiling, there was an outcry. Police reached the spot after getting information and removed the body from the noose and sent it for post-mortem. The deceased was the fifth among six siblings. Mother Sheela Devi sets up a refreshment stall outside the Judge’s Court on Nainital Road. After the death of her husband, she was supporting the family with her earnings from handcart. However, for some time, the family started getting some help due to Raja also going to work. But Raja’s suicide has brought great sorrow to his mother and family.
