Dehradun. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain and hailstorm in many districts of the state on March 1. Its yellow alert has been issued. It has been cloudy in many districts since morning.
According to the weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Center today, there may be light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in many places of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh districts of Uttarakhand state and in some places of Dehradun and Tehri districts, whereas in the rest of the districts There is a possibility of light rain at some places and there is also a possibility of light snowfall in areas with a height of more than 3500 meters, while there is a possibility of lightning along with hailstorm in the mountainous areas, for which a yellow alert has been issued. According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, fresh western disturbances have started becoming active in Uttarakhand. Due to which the weather is expected to change for the next two-three days, especially in the mountainous areas.
