Youth beaten up, attempted to throw him into Ganga

Luxor case: Man who went to engagement, case filed against 5
Haridwar.
An attempt was also made to throw a teenager who had gone to the engagement ceremony in a critically injured condition in the Ganga. The police have registered a case against five accused.
Madan Kumar, a resident of Fatwa village in Laksar Kotwali area, said his 17-year-old son had gone to Rampur Raighati village to attend an engagement ceremony. The village dynasty was also present there. Vansh took his son away saying that he would take him to his relative’s house. He said that relatives are present in their fields on the banks of the Ganges. Saying this, he took his son with him to the banks of the Ganges. 
It is alleged that Vansh had already called some of his companions here. Who were armed with swords and sticks. The youths abused and attacked his son. At which he fell down with serious injuries. 
It is alleged that the youths tried to throw his son into the Ganga in an unconscious state. During this time, some villagers returning home after working in the fields noticed them and raised an alarm. The assailants fled from the spot leaving his son on the banks of the Ganga.
