Now the Municipal Corporation will keep a third eye on those who throw garbage and leave their cattle on the roads. For this, CCTV cameras have been installed at 20 important places of the Municipal Corporation. All activities in these areas will be monitored from the integrated control room of the Municipal Corporation.
To ensure cleanliness in Rishikesh Municipal Corporation and to monitor that garbage is not dumped at any place, the Municipal Corporation has installed CCTV cameras at 20 places. In which mainly crematorium, ISBT, Kevalanand Chowk, in front of Neeraj Bhawan, Manvendra Nagar, behind Mandi, Upper Ganga Nagar, near Nirankari Bhawan, Ganga Nagar near the track, Nandu Farm, Kale Ki Dhal, Sturdia Factory, AIIMS. Behind, Meera Nagar, Kali Kamli Wall, Neem Karoli Hanuman Temple, Mansa Devi Gate, FCI, Martyr Memorial and Gurjar Plot are included.
He said that Municipal Commissioner Shailendra Singh Negi said that an integrated control room has also been established in Municipal Corporation Rishikesh. Through which the Municipal Corporation team will keep monitoring through CCTV cameras. Besides, such persons will also be identified who spread garbage in the city. He said that through these CCTV cameras, those who leave destitute animals within the limits of Rishikesh Municipal Corporation are also being monitored. He requested the citizens to cooperate in making the city clean and beautiful.
