Apart from food and other household items, home delivery of drugs in the capital Dehradun

Delivery boys are also supplying drugs under the guise of home delivery of food and other household items in Doon Rajdhani.
Deputy Inspector General of Police/Senior Superintendent of Police Dalip Kunwar has ordered all station in-charges to verify the people engaged in delivery work. If the delivery boy is found involved in criminal activities, then the police will take action against his company as well.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police on Saturday directed the Station House Officers to hold a meeting with the agencies doing home delivery of food or household items in their area. A list should be prepared after taking the information of the delivery boy from them. Verify all delivery people within two days. Apart from this, he has also ordered verification of loan recovery agents of banks. Told that in the past, delivery boys and loan agents have been found involved in criminal activities. Therefore, such people should be ordered to attend the police station thrice a week. He warned that if there is negligence at the police station level, action will be taken against the station in-charge as per rules
