Tourists have reached zero point. The District Magistrate has sent a team for relief and rescue. This team will reach Pindari today. The weather is constantly changing in Uttarakhand. The district administration was informed about the incident at around 8 am on Friday. Quoting Hindi leading newspaper Dainik Jagran, District Magistrate Anuradha Pal has said that the Government of India was immediately contacted. He demanded two helicopters from the Center and the State. Apart from the SDRF team, a team of doctors was dispatched from the district headquarters.
All tourists are safe and have reached Pindari Zero Point. After which the district administration heaved a sigh of relief. However, the team will reach Pindari on Saturday.
